AngryBeat does not require an account. Favorites and recently played stations are stored in your browser only (local storage) and are never sent to us.

Streaks, Focus last-station memory, commuter alarms, weekly Wrapped, and country passport stamps stay on this device. Alarms use the browser notification permission if you grant it — we do not send push from a server. Clear site data to erase all of it.

Live streams play directly from each station’s server. Station listings come from the public Radio Browser directory. We do not sell personal profiles.

Coarse country for local radio: we may remember a country code on this device so “Near you” and first-visit local play work without asking for GPS. A coarse country code may be used to suggest a local station on first visit. We do not request precise location on load, and we do not store latitude or longitude on a server.

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages and stations people use (for example home, Today, Focus). Google may set cookies or a similar identifier on your device. We send page paths and anonymous station events (play start, 30 seconds listened, Focus mode) — not your name, email, or account. You can block analytics cookies in your browser. See Google’s privacy policy for how Analytics processes data.

We use Google AdSense to show ads, including Auto ads Google places on the page. Google may set cookies or a similar identifier to serve and measure ads, which can be personalized. We do not send your name, email, favorites, or station history into ad configuration. You can turn off personalized ads in Google’s ad settings. See Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses ads data. Direct sponsorships on this site do not use those cookies.
